I was hoping to do some guided mountain biking with these lot when I go to Spain next month as I will be around Malaga with my bike but cant seem to get in touch. Are they still operating as they dont respond to emails and the phone number just rings and rings?

Alternatively has anyone been to the area before and have an idea of routes - GPX files would be amazing!

Cheers

Drop Michael a note at Switchbacks:

It's a couple of hours from Malaga but they do transfers to/from the airport so could probably pick you up/drop you off if you're doing a few days and wanted to stay up there. Good outfit with some great riding, I was there in June with some mates.

They are good - ridden with them before. Unfortunately this time Im actually staying in Manilva and will be driving to and from trails. Its not really supposed to be a biking trip so I wont be able to commute to Sierra Nevada. Ardales would be ideal though.

Try John at Blazing Trsils he's good and has guided for Jim in the past.

I heard they've stopped trading.

Jim stopped several over 2 years ago. We use the lakes rides most weeks and have some excellent singletrack trails here on the coast around Fuengirola. Manilva is around 1 hour away from us.

All the above is true. Jim has stopped but I have ridden with John at Blazing for the last 3 years.
