Picked up my newly built wheels and Abigales repaired forks from 18 Bikes on Saturday followed by a quick blast up above Derwent. Spent yesterday finishing my new to me bike build. Got it just like I imagined it to be. Need to get my Enduro back then I'm sorted

I'm in CX training mode, all w/e involved intervals/standing starts/hill climb reps and other exhaustive endevours. Also face planted a small ravine and am sporting quite a few face grazes 😆
Someone once said "chicks dig scars", I'm expecting a very good looking rabble to come flocking shortly 😆
I also drank a beer in the Bowman whilst having supper watching the sunset.

It was a fast and agressive w/e in all 😉

Kinlochleven on Saturday. Proper day out on some tough trails.

Smashing the downhill at Glencoe on Sunday. The red trail has had a lot of work done on it and it's a brilliant trail now.

Exploring sheep trails along some of Ireland's most epic coastline. Great day and the scenery, ah sure it would melt your face

Saturday morning at Lee and Crag with Mintimperial and riklegge from on here. Saturday afternoon with my daughter in the trailer, balance bike hanging on the back, tent on rack and panniers full of sleeping bags, stove and dinner, headed off camping. Only went about 4 miles as the crow flies but took the longer route to avoid busy roads and find an ice cream shop.
Sunday morning was home by the shortest, most traffic free route. Only about 5 miles, and 250m climbing, but that was hard with all that stuff. Next time we're using old railway trails or something!
Had a slightly odd moment at some temporary traffic lights when I got surrounded by Team Cystic Fibrosis, who all looked somewhat faster and fresher than I did by then! I assume that were riding the 65 Roses thingie.

Brilliant weekend, and my little girl agreed!

It would appear that my phone's camera lens is a little grubby!

I had laser eye surgery on Friday so spent the weekend relaxing and resisting the urge to touch my eyes! The surgery itself was one of the worst experiences of my life, but the results are already looking promising and the pain/discomfort was short lived although I'm still a bit light sensitive so currently wearing sunglasses indoors!
