hi all, so my avid code 5's are needing new pads and rotors front and back.
seen the replacements on crc and coming in at 105 euro.
BUT!!!!
They have an offer on the avid exilr 1 2012 on offer for 15euro more.
im tempted to be honest to renew my system for the newer system but will they have the same power as mine.
btw its for my dh bike with a rider of 110kg with full kit.

Elixirs are the worst brakes I've ever had. Would rather ride without than fit Elixirs. If your Codes are working well replace the pads and rotors.

On the other hand, my elixir r's have been fantastic for about 3 years without being bled once!!

get some superstar pads and some cheaper rotors
or but some xt brakes..
