Hello

My partner is thinking of getting a bike through the cycle to work scheme,

For the occasional commute to work and tootle through the woods....

Is a womens frame strictly necessary ? Obviously much more choice for men

Got to be from Halfrauds although they can get quite a few brands it seems

The Boardman MTB's look good but they don't do a womens specific frame - does this matter ?

thanks in advance !

Justa

How tall is she? I'm 5'7" and ride "men's" bikes quite happily; I tried a few women's bikes at one point, but just felt happier on non-WSD frames. Other women seem to prefer them, but if she's tall enough to ride a small men's frame, it's probably worth comparing both if you can.
