I'm concerned about the strength of my rear wheel after seeing some wear on the spokes (where an errant chain took a bite).
The freehub is knackered and the rims look tired.
What budget wheel comes recommended?

2nd hand hope xc or bulb on a rim of your choice

what he said, or a Pro II if you believe you'll need a different sized axle at some point in the future.

Please define your "budget"? As knowing people on here it can vary considerably.

You'd be amazed what can be done with a new freewheel, a few spokes and a spoke key....... 🙂
