Looking for some new tires for my trek ex 9 which i have just built up. The rims are dt xr 4.2s, not sure if there is a limit on tyre width.
Currently have a worn out scott usa tyre and a 1.8 specialized control, both from previous bikes.
Currently riding in boggy conditions, but would need a tyre that works ok in the dry, and clay. I ride at swinley forest when i can.

Anyone have any recommendations for tyres?

Thanks
Gabe

I've always liked WTB Velociraptors. About £25 each for Kevlar beaded from Chain Reaction.

I use Panaracer XC pro 2.1 on my EX9 all year round- seem to cope with almost any condition except heavy wet mud, are quite light and don't puncture too often.

Very impressed with my Hutchison toro Xc's that I bought for £15 each from Edinburgh Bike coop . They coped very well with a slippy carberry today .

In all seriousness I would highly recommend rocket rons front & rear in 2.25
