So 1st night on the turbo last night all goes well. Go out to the garage tonight to do some more time to find MASSIVE flat spot on the tyre soooooo...

What 700c trainer tyre? (are they all much of a muchness or are some longer lasting then others?)

One with low rolling resistance to make it easier for you. Lets be honest, you're going to need all the help you can get ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have very cheap Vittoria slicks on my road bike. Lethal in the wet, but on my 2nd winter with the turbo and they haven't even warn. Could be my turbo though as the tyre floats on top of the roller, rather than being fixed on to it as such

Hmmm. Might try a lower pressure then to see if that reduces wear...

Got a special a turbo trainer tyre with mine, don't have a spare wheel and am too lazy to keep swapping though.

Fitted mine with the cheapest no name chinese circular piece of rubber I could buy at Halfords.

They work remarkably well at the are so perfectly round (odd innit). I have some Geax slicks on the other bike, and they are a bit to wobbly to use smoothly.
