Would guess so.
Top tip, when cutting outers, insert an old inner cable first and the outer doesnt get crushed when you cut it!

A much cheaper and equally good option is the decent electric cable cutter that Screwfix sell, think it's less than a tenner IIRC - it was mentioned on here a couple of weeks ago, might be worth searching for "screwfix".

or get down to maplins - about £7 IIRC for something well up to teh task.

not worth it if you have to pay postage, but deffo if you have one locally.

you mean this ?

Won't work. For cutting bicycle cables & especially outers you need something that cuts in shear as opposed by compression/crushing. If you bought one of those it would just flatter your cables. Isn't great for your inners makes the outers an absolute mare to use.

Cynic al Yes it would appear so. Didn't look at the pciture properly so i thought it was like one of these http://www.screwfix.com/prods/16019/Hand-Tools/Pliers-Cutters/Carpenters-Pincers/7-Carpenters-Pincers

So i take back my earlier comment.
