Like ODI Rogues but dislike the cheese like bolts and lock rings. Who else do a nice thick/soft lock-on grip?

ergon are pretty thick and they do some less 'extreme' shapes now too.

Lizard Skins North Shore are nice & thick.
I usually get numb fingers but not since using these.

I am a big fan of the Sunline logo lock on grips. The thick ones.

but dislike the cheese like bolts and lock rings

Hmm - Oury, Lizard Skins - don't they use the same lockrings/bolts??
Sunline - Lockrings are even more cheeselike (ie. plastic)

how about the new Atherton ones, thats what I'm gonna go for (CRC do em) or here

The Lizard Skins do 🙁 havent looked at the Oury.

The Sunline ones are worse, oh FFS!

Might look at the ebay ones - propalm.

Oury all the way, fantastic grips for the larger handed man 😉

Got some “propalm” half waffle with flanges on my BMX, used them for DH too, very good for the money…
Lock on bolts don’t need torquing like crazy, just a sensible “nip” using the short end of the hex key for leverage and they’ll stay put, Knuckle dragger operation of just about any bolt will result in a rounded head though…

Sunline on mine, the grips are excellent, but yes, the caps are shit.

Bontrager Big Earl Lock ons

http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product/107857.html

Thick-ish with a far better locking system than the normal grub screw effort

(Note: It says "thin grip" in that description but they're not thin)

Sunline, had no problems with mine what so ever, just be careful when nipping em up.
I run the thin tho (can't stand thick grips) but my mate rides with the thick ones, they do look quite a big dia.

I went from squishy, vague ODI rogues to the Sunline grips, albeit the thin ones and really like them
are they shearing when you take them off? you hardly need to do up the bolts to stop the grips moving
maybe you need a bike shop to put your grips on for you 😉

Corrosion and threads stripping were the biggest problems. I now have some Ti bolts and havent had a problem since although I am a lot more careful nipping them up. The allen key with the long shaft inserted and the shorter one for the turning effort keeps things about right.
