I asked about spd shoe sales a few days ago...and didn’t realise how many there are. So after a nosey, I’m liking the look of the Shimano ME7 shoes, way too fancy for me, but they appeal - suspect the M200 would also be fine.
However, how do they size up? I’ve a narrow foot so suspect Shimano will fit well, but are they properly sized? I’m a 44/9.5, so what size should I go for?
Saying that, what other spd shoes are there, that are similar to the Shimano shoe?
Ta.

Obv it's a personal thing but I take the same size shimano shoe as my normal footwear, which is a 44 like you. spd shoes are wider than average (at least IME) - I've tried loads of different brands over the years and often find some are tight around my toes compared to the same size shimano. Shimano also offer massive range so you can get narrow and wide sizes in some lines.
I haven't had Shimano shoes for a long time but always found I had to buy the next size up. Maybe order both and then return whichever doesn't feel right?
Might do that, but a pricey purchase method...I should call the local shops and see if they have them in stock and can then try them on and buy the right size - my only issue with that is if they don't have the shoes I'll probably end up buying something else (and then regret the purchase!)...however, best give it a try!
