Thinking about grabbing one of these whilst on offer at CRC (shh, please don't buy them all).
What size for a 6'2" chap. Think inside leg is 33", with body being slightly longer than average for height. Do i go Large or X-Large. Coming from a Large Heckler which was always a bit short in the top tube. Large had an extra 1cm in the top tube (610mm), XL has extra 3.5cm (635mm. Worried large won't make enough difference, but also the Extra Large might be too long. Arghh! Experiences please 🙂
Depends on you choice of stem length really.
I think the XL is still not that long really, and would be best with a short stem.
I have ridden, not owned, the medium at 5'11" and that was marginal, longish legs at 32".
I had a similar experience at 5'10" choosing between the Med and Large - I went with the Large in the end and it fits perfic with a 50mm stem and wide bars. Given that I'd say you'd be looking at the X-Large for sure with a similar short stem.
It rides really well and for the price CRC are knocking them out for at the moment it'd be rude not too really 😉
I'm riding a large and a 50mm stem at 5'11" and it feels spot on for me.
I'd be inclined to agree with the others and say you'd probably be best with the x-large.
Thanks folks - good to get your experience. Looks like its an XL for me. Luckily even XL doesn't look too gate-like from what I've seen. I have a 65mm stem at the mo but sounds like I might want to go shorter.
