I need to post a bike from Austria to uk.
I will go to a local bike shop and blag a cardboard box to send it.
All these posting sites ask for the dimensions of the box.
Does anyone have a rough idea?
Also, approximately how much would a Small Demo 8, 2011 weigh? It has full Bos suspension and quite high end bits.
Thanks.

On-one boxes are about 210cm x 120 x 30cm, but they take a bike fully built up just the bars turned.

Normal ones the bikes arrive at the bike shops in are closer to 1.3m x 1m x 20cm.

Probably 45lb-50lb by the time you've added some packaging? My bikes always take the bikes weight again when packing for a holliday, but that includes tools, spares, armour etc, and a bike bag with a cardboard box inside that.

Don't forget to take the mech hanger off and put something solid between the rear dropouts.
