Looking at getting an Anthem frame, just appreciate a bit of sizing advice.
I'm 6ft2 and would normally ride XL size frames (20inch or 21 inch - 20 inch with a fair bit of post). I notice the Anthems come in 20 and 22 flavour. I seem to remember from a mates even smaller one that the top tubes are quite long, so not sure whether to go for 20 or 22"
Thoughts from the masses?
Will try one when I get a chance, but just wondering now...
I'd say 18, Giants feel mahoosive, im 6 foot and a medium 18" trance felt just a little too big
i am 6ft 1 and a medium trance was way small - large is spot on
Not all of them are available in the 22", so check first.
I would have said the 20" would be fine, friend of mine is 6'2 & went for the L over the XL. FWIW, I'm only 5'8 & ride an 18", so that would be way too small for you IMO

As you are tall, rather than a gangly XL frame, have you thought about the [url= http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/giant-2011-mountain-bikes-first-look-26977 ]new anthem 29er?[/url]. No idea if it will be available as a frame only though.

I'm 5'10 ish and ride a medium/18" which is just about big enough. Looks like just under an inch in the top tube between 20 & 22 so I'd guess you've got the option of 20" and maybe a long stem/layback post or 22" and short stem/in line post.
I'd go for Large mate. Will fit you fine.

My XL trance said 22" on the box, 21" on the website and actually measures as 20.5". I'm 6'6" and it fits bang on, so large is probably the way forward.

i'm 6,2" and it was fine. (the Anthem) felt a little small due to the racy set-up, but Xl was waaaaay too large for me.
I'm 6'3" - 6'4" and I have a 20" Anthem (not an X, mind). I reckon I could get along with the 22" frame, though.

Oh - re the 29er idea. I'd go for it if they do it frame only. Will investigate as I might not buy until just before the start of next season...
