My new to me 2011 orange five is running 3x10 at the moment. I was thinking double and bash as I have been running 2x9 with 36 up front on my bikes for a while and like it. I have found out that a bigger than 32 middle can couse trouble shifting on a 5 so am considering 1x10. I like a 36 front (may consider 34) as I ride heavy gears.
So what chain device for a 1x10 set up with bash? I would like to keep the bash as it has flowers on!
It has isg old tabs I think...
What do you guys think?
Also what chainring to use?

I use a Gamut P20 (i think) and it seems to work fine and its pretty light. I got it new for £40, I dont think I'd pay full whack for one though.
Looks good but only seems up to 34t. Also could I use my own bash?
Any others that will fit 34 and 36t so I can experiment?

Think you can only run 34 on middle on O5?
So you mena to run a 36 on the outer front position?
think this would give nasty chainline for lower gears and more resistance?
