not for when its raining but in teh mornings on my commute i ride across alot of grass and its the dew that soaks.
I`d like not to have to do the overshort thing and i think full on waterproofs might be a bit overkill so what shorts are there out there with a waterproof or water resistant arse?
I like the look of the madison addict but they are a bit 'short' short for me.
i like a longer leg ideally...

Mudguards? Otherwise, stop messing around and get some Altura Attack 3/4 shorts.
I have Endura MT500 shorts and 3/4s. They seem pretty good.
altura semi dry (think that is what they are called) are discontinued but still available in a few places/sizes
