Currently have a WTB Rocket V (hollow cro-mo rails IIRC)which i really like. Had it for a few years and leather getting thin on the sides.
So do a replace with the same or go for something different.
I dont race and i want a comfortable all day saddle. Also im 17st stone 6'5" so its gotta be durable. Not bothered about Ti rails, as i've heard they can sag over time?
What would the larger riders amongst us recommend?
thanks
If you like it stick with it. IME saddles by the same manufacture fit the same arses so you could pick a more expensive model if you want. Otherwise stick with what you know especially when it comes to something like a saddle where the difference can make rides agony if you get the wrong one.
Not sure if they're phasing out the rocket but there were some deals when I bought a replacement a couple of months ago. If it works then stick with it.
I have a Charge spoon saddle most comfy and cheapest saddle i've ever had
and my arse has been on a load of saddles over the years
I moved from a rocket 5 on both bikes to a charge spoon. Soon put one on the 2nd bike too. Just fits my soffit better, even though there's less padding.
Cheap enough to try - if crap, go back to WTBs.
