[Closed] What pump for the trail?

After a flat yesterday it reminded me again that I really need a new trail pump to replace my tiny cr@appy thing designed for road tyres!

It will always be in a camelback or similar pack so it doesn't need to be ultra small. I'm sure I remember reading something about a pump that had two modes - high volume to start then switch to higher pressure. I suspect more useful would be a built in pressure gauge.

So what's good?

What he said. You will not find better than the morph for inflating a tyre on the trail. It is hefty though, doesn't fit into the pump sleeve in my camelbak.

Bow down to your new pumping god:

...saying that tho since switching to tubeless i have used it once in about 6 months. FYI it fits in a Dakine Nomad nicely.

Very impressed with my blackburn mini-pump. Can't remember the model name (had it 5+ years) but it's got a handle which pivots into a T-shape to make pumping much more comfy.

That seems unanimous then - well, amongst the small sample group 😉 Turbo morph with gauge ordered.

got a specialized airtool mtb, it has been really good. it's not that small but is very light, just £10, and is easily the best trail pump I've had. Every topeak pump I've owned only lasts about 6 months so I'd steer clear of those.
