Just taken delivery of one of those £26 cree lights from ebay. Like a fool, I didn't check it comes with a UK plug - which it didn't.

For those that have bought them, do you use an adapter? If so, what should I use?

Thanks

One with the correct 3 pins for a UK socket and the right number of holes on teh other side for the plug.

Is it for European market or US market? A picture helps.

Yep - two pin shaver type.
The charger gets very hot!

Cheers all,

Next question, the bar mount is rubbish, doesnt even seem to fit oversize bars. Any solutions?

TBH I'm not totally sure what type of light were talking about, is it a head unit and seperate battery (see links below) or a self contained torch?

Take a gander at this, otherwise hopes £8 mount can be converted.

I bought a plug adaptor from DX for 89p delivered !

I never expected it to actually turn up, but it did about 6 weeks later. Still surprises me how they managed to make any profit on it.

10p more and a walk down to Boots (or poundland), and you wouldn't have had to wait 6 weeks 😀

Then if you don't fancy Stevewhytes option (link above), then the Hope one is probably your best option:

Sorry, slight delay in my responding.

The one in the link looks good.
