Any suggestions for a set of markers that won't rub off a laminated map?

Could do with them being clear / coloured like highlighters opposed to solid black

I'm border of spending hours in front of the computer, paper is easier

Thanks

Sharpie do a 'twin tip' permanent pen - thick at one and and fine at the other. Sometimes sold as a CD/DVD pen, and come in lots of colours. They're the best I've found so far...

They're not clear though - I'm not sure I've seen a clear permanent marker.

I'll have a look for some of those then

I fancied clear to help it stand out without it blanking out what's beneath

Staedtler Lumicolor markers are the absolute best for writing on acetate covered maps and such.

+1

Edding do a good permanent OHP pen but they're quite a strong colour, so won't really show what is underneath/on the map.

+1 for the Lumicolours. Downside: Expensive.

Not the best, but if you want cheap, Ryman's just mailed me about these half-price Sharpies:
