It's not alway possible to figure out which jacket as packable from the website, not talking 'an apple'sized packable but also don't want one that needs a 50L pack to fit it in..

Must be properly waterproof (goretex/eVent, whatever).
Must have pit zips (don't bother otherwise), the larger the better.
Must pack down to a reasonable size.

Any ideas? I know last time I looked Altura and Endura seemed to have jackets that fit these requirements.. but not looked at there packable-ness

If still made, and/or you can find one, Bontrager eVent Packable.

No one?
Hows about opinions on the Endura MT500 II jacket? Looks to be well rated, though I'm not sure about a non-removable hood or how packable it is, it maybe too much of a heavy weight

The original Endura MT500 is an awesome jacket but a little bit heavy and too warm for a spring/summer packable jacket.
Not sure about the MT500 II but would imagine its a similar weight.

No suggestions, but I'd forget about cycling jackets and look for running jackets instead. Pretty sure Mountain Equipment do an uber light on with pit zips..
