i have only 1 bike, a 2003 Kona Cindercone, only things upgraded have been the bars, pedals and saddle

Does me for all i need it to do, trails in the UK aren't that lairy that we really need anything much more than mabye say a moderate travel full sus......although IMHO it's about what floats your boat.

If I could only have one it would be this

Cheers again for all the suggestions, when I say the "one" bike I meant the one full sus bike. Should have clarified that from the start, sorry. I still use my hardtail with 130mm fork on a regular basis, which I find suitable for most UK MTB trail centres I have visited (nearly all Scotland, Wales & some england). Trying to find that elusive full sus bike for all occasions (trails, enduro, light DH etc) with just the right amount of travel and a sensible weight to strength ratio! My other reason for this rational is that my tow ball bike carrier allows Me three bikes (2 for me 1 for girlfriend). That way I can have a bike for every occasion when I'm up north in the middle of nowhere! no more I wish I had my other bike with me scenario. Now I'm waiting for someone to point out a flaw in my logic. 🙂
