I’ve got some Motul fork oil from TFtuned I got for a Fox oil change. I’m going to have a go at the Manitou Mattocks, but youtube talk about open bath oil, is this something different?
I’m a real newbie at fork stuff.

Same stuff. Any decent fork oil will do. Often better to get it from a motorbike shop as it is cheaper. Just need to make sure it is the right weight

I think there's some decent youtube vids by manitou on working on their forks, worth having a hunt around on there.

The open bath refers to where the oil goes, not what type of oil.The Motul will be fine. As Nick said it will be loads cheaper from motorbike shops, unless you are really light and need 5wt or something then they will just look confused
