Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying myself a new helmet soon, had my Xen for 5yrs
and its starting to look abit old.
Whats good or bad at the moment in the crashhat department.
Should i just buy another Xen ?

After using mid range Giro helmets for quite a while i went for somet different and got a Pro-Tec Ace lid. I personally think it looks better than standard helmets and I think it offers better protection at the back of your skull. Good thing is it can take a couple of hits before replacing it.

Go for something different rather than getting another Xen
My mate just bought a Hex. Half the price of a Xen, but looks just as good.
Bell Variant is a good one. Slightly more comfortable on my head than a Zen. Cheaper too but otherwise very similar.
I love my Specialized 2D
Lightweight and less sweaty than any other lid I've owned.

I would second the 2D recommendation. Bought one a few months ago and really liking it.
