Narrower than a 2.2 spesh purgatory as clearance is tight
i like Maxxis Ignitor 2.1, i run them on the HT in the peaks
fast rolling, grippy on roots and rocks and better then they look in mud
bontrager MudX 1.8 or 2.0
Just tried the Maxxis Beaver 2.0 today, very good grip and clearance. Very happy.
Specialized storm control 2.0 or even a 1.8 if it's that tight. Good in winter, grip on rocks and they'll be worn down for summer just right ๐
Can you get the Beavers in a 26" ?
Look at the dual compound onza cannis iv been so surprised at how good they have handled in the wet and mud
Fire XC Pro is pretty much a classic
What bike is it Rob?
carbon titus
I found maxxis advantage ust was pretty good on both ends of my bike around the peaks.
Another vote for the fire xc pros
2.1 ADvantage.
I've just given up on fire xcs. Too mud holdy. I'm on a high roller on the front and mud x rear.
May try storm controls - like to match brands!
2.1 advantage
Maxxis High Roller XC 2.1 Lighter than the standard version and thinner for your clearance worries.Got mine from CRC
2.1 advantages are well wide
Why bother Rob ? don't need narrow in the Peak.... just look how rocky it was on Sunday ๐
the clearance issue in mud
Nobby Nicks or Bonty Mud X for the prevailing mudfest conditions.
