Spesh storm control. Awesome tyre.

Bonty Mud X have been good for me. Clear very well, and not too pricey.

Depends on the bog. Total mud, nowt else you can't beat 1.5" Schwalbe Black Sharks - all round winter tyres: Mud X, Spesh Storm and Schwalbe Dirty Dan are all good.

+1 for Mud x, just bought another 2 for £43 from JE James, most places are charging £35 for one.

mud x. Great nobbly bits, weak side walls.

I've had a few beads pop on mud x's so have been replacing with Dirty Dans...

Just replaced some Mud X's with Maxxis Medusa's in 2.1" Dual Compound LUST flavour.

So far, so good. Certainly roll a lot quicker, clear mud even better, seem very nearly as outright grippy in the deep slop, but more suitable all round I'd say.

Serious mud? Keep it old skool;

1.5" Conti XCs. If it's really, awfully claggy mud, there's no tyre better IMHO.

mud x for straight bogs/bridleways/xc, but as above, keep them away from slabby rock edges esp if tubeless....the beads have a habit of pinch splitting as result of low volume/thin sidewalls.
