Yup it happened again, not used my pump for years. Tried to use it today and it wouldn't seal on the valve.

What do I replace it with?

I gave up on 'clever' small pumps, and got an old fashioned type, 60cm long, fits in my bag well, nothing to go wrong. £6 off ebay or a fiver in halfords
pump
I couldnt find one when I was in thailand, so I carried a different one for the motorbike, was cheap, light, efficient, etc, I should have bought a few when I could, I never see them here. I bought a lookalike from china ebay, but it was real pish, xmas cracker style.
favorite design, worst materials

16 years with a Crank bros mini pump gave up the ghost last month so got one of those Bonty air support ones twice as big but works way better.

My Topeak Mountain Morph is easily 10 years old and has never let me down. For short local loops however I take a little CO2 inflator from Decathlon iirc although I am rather taken by the Lezyne Control Drive.

Used to have a Topeak pump which was good, but just slightly too long for various bags I own. Now have a Lezyne mini track pump which is slightly shorter, lighter (guessing), and a longer tube. The Topeak was more ergonomic to pump and hold (maybe worth it), the Lezyne is a little more awkward to pump and hold. I think the Lezyne is a nicer object and also works well, just since tubeless they don't get used often and I forget the way I figured out how to hold it to not get annoyed with it....Both work really well at inflating tyres! Lezyne better if you have both valve types. I lost the rubber bit in my Topeak hence replacement.

I had a lezyne alloy drive which I thought was ace. Realised the other day that I've lost it, very annoyed!

That happened to me! Lost one I’d had since they came out. Tried a few other pumps and now have gone back to the Lezyne.
(Weird thing, had to get my money back on the first replacement as the presta end was unthreaded. One-off manufacturing fault I believe.)

Lezyne because I store it on the frame, it gets filthy, and having had loads of pumps over the years theirs are the only ones I've found don't seize up and die.

The Lezyne mini track pumps are silly light for what they kick out, +1 from me.

The phaart rumbler I've had for 8 years has served me well. The fold out mini track pump style means you can give it some proper welly and get on the move again quickly. Quite lightweight too.

Discontinued where I bought mine from but this looks identical

I can't remember when i got my Lezyne Micro Floor Drive, but everyone borrowed it on our wednesday night rides.
Now everyone is on tubeless & not puncturing so much, it has been relegated to the gravel bike (that's tubeless too, so mainly just in case when you're in the back of beyond)
Now have a One Up 70cc on the mtb.

Mountain morph on the frame. Lasts forever (or until I lose it which is more likely)

Mountain morph works the best but is bulky, so really need a backpack.

The Lezyne allow pumps seem indestructible and quite compact, so thats what I carry the most. Wish they didn't unscrew my valve core though.

I bought a small alloy barrelled pump from decathlon for around £12? and it works really well. Worth checking out if there is a store nearby.

I've had a Mountain Morph not work on me twice - both times when I needed it. First time, the seals were completely dried out, luckily I had an eye-dropper bottle of chain lube so managed to get it going. Second time was in the arctic - used it once and then it froze solid - luckily I was stopping for lunch so put the stove on and it got going again. Dutch mate had a Lezyne Micro Drive XL - worked perfectly. Mountain Morph binned.

I have a lezyne alloy drive and I was looking to replace it.

Firstly it always seems to have unscrew the valve core when you remove and second the plastic thread where the adapter tube screws in has become cross threaded and suspect it won’t last much longer.
