I need it to:

- be small
- be good up to 100psi (and not take an age to get there)
- ideally have a gauge
- not be a fiddly *rsed thing to use

Does such a thing exist?

No gauge, but if you can get one it has to be the Lezyne Alloy Drive.
Superb quality & no faffing about with screw-on adapters, simply turn the hose around.

i have one of the small crank brothers pumps, bought on size more than anything else. it is well made and works well enough to get me out of trouble plus you've got that amazing crank bros warranty/cust service if needed, but if size was'nt so crucial i'd buy one of the little track pump type jobbies (topeak?).
