As a backup / compliement my exposure flare on the post and fibre flare on helmet. Needs to be small, bright, last ages and attach securely to the saddle bag loop.

So far I'm thinking on of those small lezyne numbers, femto I think it's called.

I've just got a Moon Ring - http://www.moon-sport.com/product-detail.php?id=147 USB chargeable, about the same size as the Femto, can fit to seat post or bag loop. Three times the price of the Femto though.

ive got a lezyne femto, its ok, small lightweight attaches to seatpost or a jeans pocket etc, but crucially, its not that bright.
i also have a moon crescent, cost about 20 quid, and its basically better in almost every way, definitely brighter.

Lezyne Zectos are very bright and last a while on the less demanding settings and if you remove the bungee wotsit they have a belt clip thing that'll secure onto a saddlebag loop (which I do sometimes if I've got one on). The belt clip is pretty hefty so unless the loop is particularly large and flappy in my experience it stays put very well.

As it's a back-up light I just have a supermarket cheapie.

As above. Basic cheapie does the job. Or even 2. No need to enter the lumens race at the rear.

PX Phart R2 I think it is - £5 and bright enough to have a car driver shouting out his window.

I think I've got the above but it came in a Raliegh branded packet with a front white one to match. Nice bits of kit.
