Exposure lights all the way! always been impressed by enduro maxx, did invest in a cheap p7 head torch as well tho.

not sure really, it lights everything up nicely! the main thing i like over the hope stuff is it tells u what power setting your on and how much juice it has left, some the vision 2 i borrowed didn't do which was crap. I'd possibley consider the toro now or maxx-d if i was purchasing again

c_klein i thought about the toro but isn't that more road specific ?

elain , i've always run my vision 2 on the bars but having read reviews it's best on the lid!! I need something bright as i'll be lost in the shadows by my friends new lights 😕

put your hope vision on setting 4 then thats bright but runns the battery down quicker.... i have mine on setting 2 and sometimes 3 if its misty...
its great on your lid ! both me and my son have them on the lid... you can pan round so you can see whats at the sides of you as well as whats in front...you never know what herds of wilderbeasts mite attck you from the sides ! hahahhhah but yeah try it on your lid its alot better ! 😉 then you can just get a cheap back up light to go on your bars....

ay up - specially now you can get them from a UK dealer again - some how seem brighter than the "I've got more lumens than you" brigade would suggest...

PP - yes, the light comes with 6600mAh battery. Its a fab light for me - I'm loving the nights drawing in again so I can get up to the speeds (on the Malverns) that proper lights allow ....

The TrailTechs? The distributor is based in Galashiels...

...see my link above, as far as aftersales are concerned, in my experience they were second to none. Real 'above and beyond' stuff

If this helps had a maxx D and a vision 4. Did'nt keep the max D. The exposure light spread is very narrow and is a whitish shade compared to the Hope Vision 4 with a far wider beam spread and a yellowish shade.. You need to demo imo to see what suits you best but you get far more lumens for your pennies from the Vision 4

Cant comment on the Lupine...

If you are willing to spend the money then the Troutlites are superb - very bright, well made and excellent service.

I think the prices are on his new website:

http://troutie.com/

I've got a Lumen Liberator which is great
