Wide bars and a 50mm Thomson would suit v nicely

I'm 5'10" and ride an 18" too. Using a 70mm, which isn't quite as awesome going downhill as a 50 would be, but isn't quite as nice going up as a 90 would be (steep climbs I feel too cramped and have to work very hard to keep the front down)

I'm 6ft running a 60mm with 711mm bars on my 18". I'm finding it a bit short and going to switch to a thomson 70mm. At 5'10 a 50mm or 60mm would probably be spot on?

i'm sure you can get your hands onnern old 120mm stem.

try it, ride up a hill, and down a hill.

borrow a 50mm stem - try that too.

try a 70/80 - you'll probably like that a bit more than the other 2.

Odd ask, you might have t-Rex arms or you might be like a monkey. Who knows. Ride whatever the funk you want and don't get swayed by fashion.

ps I ride a -20mm stem with a 1200mm wide low rise bar
