How does the number of teeth on the single front ring have a reflection on the length of your mech? 😉
Short cage no matter how many teeth you have up front.

furry muff - are you sure a short cage will cope with a 36t rear cog?

It does on both my bikes, slx 11-36 cassette, 34t chainring and Zee short cage shadow plus

There's two versions of the Zee rear mech a 32-36 Wide ratio and a 23-28 close ratio
