What cage length (rear mech) should I be using with the following setup ?
FSA Comet 42/27 with Sram 11-36 cassette? The bike (Boardman FS Pro) currently has a Sram X9 Medium Cage rear mech. I'm thinking of swapping the front rings to 39/27.
My questions are. Is a medium cage correct for the current setup, will I need a long or a medium cage with my prospective 39/27 setup?
I'm digging up all sorts of conflicting reports on t'interweb. .
