Thinking of changing to a middleburn sq taper uno crank on the SS karate monkey but i'm unsure of spindle length to use, any one oth there in singletrack world be able to shed some light on this for me?
Bb shell of the frame is about 71mm

Got a feeling Middlebums run on a 113 - but I'm sure their website would have some helpful info.

Yes 113mm gives a 50mm chainline with a spider, but I think you might need a longer BB for the UNO ring because it's not dished as much as a spider.
