Yes, it is a Bodge It and Co version. It lights 3 Cree Q5s very well for ages, but I would like to know what new smaller LEDS I could run from it and how, in series like the Crees?

They will be stuck to a Al heatsink with a switch, which isolates the buckpuck from the battery. Wire is 4 core. Very receptive to any I could buy from a STW member. just need LED's and Optics.

the new smaller LEDs run off the same voltage as the ones you already have.

3.7v per LED + at least 1v over for the buckpuck, a 14.8v battery pack will limit you to only 3 LEDS no matter which you choose.

You will be able to get more light because the new CREE XPG LEDs are more efficient.

Ok, what 3 leds and optics do I order from here?
Trout uses a maxflex or something to boost the voltage - I think.
I am rather limited to the buckpuck.

The trout light uses a boost controller not a buck.
I run triple & quad XPE R2s off a battery like that & have some spare including optics - email in profile if you want to buy some.
