Thinking of getting some knee pads as any blow to my delicate knees usually results in a couple of weeks off the bike.
I got tree trunk legs, so need something that doesn't slip down and will be comfortable for pedalling.

So recommendations please.

I have just taken delivery of some XL Race face Dig pads, they are just big enough. I've got reasonably big thighs and calves but I'm no monster.

Seems to be a theme with knee pads that they come up small.

like they would last long?! just be left with strips of gaffer tape by the time I'd got to the top of the hill.

+ Kyle straits , bought some myself 2 weeks ago after taking a big chunk out of my knee at cannock
rode the week after with the pads and they were great to ride in , much more comfortable than i thought they would be

On a slightly more helpful note, I also have a pair of Kyle Strait's and they are not half bad. Purchased after witnessing 2 serious knee injuries.
