I've got a Howies Dyfi jacket that I bought with the intention of using a riding jacket but I find it a bit snug around the waist and under the arms.

Can anyone recommend anything a bit more roomy? I don't really wanna spend more than £50 if I'm honest.

Anyone got any real world experience? It's getting a bit cold out!

I've had an Endura Gridlock jacket that survived 5 years of commuting. Waterproof, warm, bordering on hot.

It depends on how rotund you are. There's a black XXL for £40 at Sigma Sports.

Ended up going for a Madison Zenith, £29.99 from eBay. Very happy with it for the money and the cut is spot on.
