29lb (dripping wet with proper tires and pedals)

191lb (naked)

6.5:1

In its more sedentary guise with spd's and normal tires its 27lb giving 5.16:1

I'm a 9 stone woman on a 'do-it-all' dirt jump bike (wait til I get a proper DH bike!) it's a wonder I don't just give up now 😀

ton, youre looking at about 10:1 there matey, meaning you're a LOT heavier than your bike, as am I. Not good or bad, you might have a light bike or a heavy body like me 🙂

fair point, I was just wondering how damned heavy your bike was! But ~31 isnt too heavy.

9.75kg FS! - is it 'warrantied' for off-road use?

Well we have done this to death before - no there is nothing particularly fragile or unreliable on there. Gets raced and not treated all that carefully. Of course I weighed rather less than I do now when I got it - have been on a weight gain programme over the last year or so!

I think ton is winning with the highest proportion of bodyweight to proper (ie MTB with gears) bike at the moment.

Thinking I might just win this one..

4.5:1

Me: just under 55kg
Bike: around 12kg

No wait, just saw miaowing_kats. Could still win the male category. Assuming the lower the ratio the better of course.

nope you dont look again 😉 and even if we've done it to death I don't think a sub 10kg bike is a proper mtb and I happily provide you with a sofa and shuttle to some real trail to test it.

May have skewed the results somewhat by using this

Would have been (marginally) different if I'd used the HT.

3.53 Orange Crush (2007 version)

Short and skinny - Chucky, no wonder I found your alpine hard work to pedal if that's your ratio - how much does that tank weigh?!
