Is it a first generation Canondale Scalpel? In a very large size...

There are some folks in Spain making up "homemade" Scalpel-esque bikes, could be one of those.

It's definitely not a Specialized Ground Control FSR. They didn't have curved top tubes I don't think and the rear looked different. Of course the FSRs all had Horst links too.

I don't thinik it's a Scalpel either; I think they all had carbon chainstays which flexed. This thing clearly has aluminium chainstays (probably with a pivot).

Judging by what we can see of the other parts, i'd suggest it's a £80 supermarket special.

I think its a supermarket special. You can seen the cheap rear mech. It all cr@p gear on it.
