You know only buying clothes from mtb brands, howies jeans right down your ass so people can see your fox pants and so on and so on...
That is something I have always been amazed at races it's like people are trying to shout as much as possible "look look look I am the most gnar mtber here".
Don't get me wrong I do have cycling related t-shirt from races, but that's all plus I try not to wear them at races. That and trying to buy as much as possible cycling related everyday object (branded toilet roll, kitchen goods and so and so.

Some people live in adidas trackies and burberry hats. It's their call. Be a bit dull if we all dressed the same, no?

Off the bike all I ever wear bike-related are the T-shirts from the main events such as MM, Bonty 24, Kilder 100 etc.

I don't own anything from Howies, Giant, Spec' Fox, Altura (excluding cycling kit), and so the list continues. Most of my casual kit is walking gear, be it Craghoppers, TNF, HH, Tog24, Rab etc.

I think you'll find that in many sports / activities. When I raced Ducatis, I had only T-shirts pertaining to the various events & the DSClub; not one iota of Ducati leisure wear to my name.
