Mum is after a new bike. Mostly country lanes but some 'farm tracks'. Am thinking nothing too rugged, but not too skinny.

From personal experience, wouldn't recommend a cube, I had a £500 ish hybrid. was heavy, slow, tiring, wise than my old basic giant hardtail mtb!

Just bought my daughter this, kinda posh for a uni bike, but she loves it. She tells me it's fast, light and comfy. Oh and a nice colour. £275
(it came with normal brakes not the slidepad ones)

Oops, working for a Swiss company means my Internet comes from abroad. It thought I lived in Germany. Now ordered with free P&P. Happy days!
