Just got some hope pro 2 evo wheels and want to convert the rear to 10mm QR. Which conversion kit do i need CRC have a bolt thru and bolt in. Think I read somewhere that the Evo hubs already have the bigger internals so just need the end caps?
evos need just the end caps changing.
bolt in - bolts bolt into the end caps and are threaded.
bolt through - you need a seperate axle

So if I get the bolt through and the superstar axel I'm good to go? I've got standard QR dropouts.

I broke the lever on one of those and the camming action ain't great - which seems to undermine the point of a 10mm axle in the first place if you can't get it reliably tight - and they're heavy with it.
I was very cynical about the DT Swiss DWS things after stripping the engagement splines on one of the early resin ones, but the ones with the aluminium handles are about a million times better, much tougher and all-metal contact where it counts, though not cheap at 27 quid from CRC. Don't touch the Fire Eye one, I had one briefly, it's alloy and it snapped. Nice.
Do you need special dropouts or will the standard QR ones work?
STD drop-outs are fine, I use the 10mm superstar axle in mine
