Most of my bike gear is dark colours and nearly been hit a few times in the last week so thinking about getting one of these. I use 20l litre rucksac for commuting (Dakine Heli Pack) and dont want to spent too much.

I've got the Hi-Viz Hump Reflective and feel pretty happy with it. The fit over my Camelback Cloudwalker isn't that great, but the material it is made from is super reflective as soon as any light hits it.

EDIT: this isn't the cheapest cover, but I decided for an extra £15 my life was worth it, after some close calls with drivers overtaking me at night.

bought a £19 Altura Night vision one last week and haven't been knocked off the bike yet!
Fits a good range - between 10 and 30 litres I think.

Wouldn't mind the waterproofness of the cover though. Hi-Vis is a good cheap option, got one in my desk!

Slight hijack. Does anyone know if the Hump cover will fit over a messenger style bag?

I sewed some reflective tape to my bag, but maybe that's just because I'm a cheapskate 🙂

Seen plenty of Respro covers and they are certainly nice and visible.
