No, not for trail centres but what cheap semi-integrated/integral/zero stack headset. The one that came with my bike has loose gravel shaped and coloured things that were once ball bearings but without any kind of seal they have suffered despite the odd clean and regrease.
So, what's cheap but has some chance of life?
Define cheap? As that varies a huge amount on here depending who you talk to!
I'd say CK or Hope. They last and last, if fitted properly of course. Not sure if they do a semi-integrated or not though.
Hope do a semi-integrated (think they call it integral) but I struggle to think of a Chris King as cheap in any arena?
£20 give or (for preference) take a bit. Wedding to save for and fitting it to a Carrera Fury both make me reluctant to splash a lot of cash, but it is starting to get annoyingly gritty in there.
Seen a Cane Creek one for about £20 in James', thought there could be better out there.
