Great contribution phil5556 thanks. If I ever actually decide on a gravel bike I'm sure that area would be great to explore!
Worth having a look at Orro, couple of terra C option s in the sale
I love a bike for life. One of the things you're buying with a gravel bike is the versatility. One of the challenges is that there's probably going to be a better bike for many of the rides you'll do. I bought a Singular Peregrine 10 years ago and it's been a touring, commuting, bikepacking, century road rides, century off road rides, it's had road slicks, cx file treads, 2inch creme balloon tyres, 2.1inch knobblies, singlespeed, 1x 9, 1x10.
Singular has recently updated geometry and spec for a new batch. The frames are expensive, but I'd struggle not to get another if mine met with a thief or an accident. You could get some decent kit on one for 2.5K
