Hi as above.
Did a load of bike a bike on the Jen ride including slipping on rocks and this is the result.
What would you use the fix it?
2 part epoxy

Tub glue. Probably the same stuff as above. If it can hold a deflated tub on a rim on a 43 degree bank. it'll hold your tread.
New shoes.
In my experience nothing works for very long.
It will last if you follow the instructions and do the job right.Secret is patience and leaving the shoe for a day or two.

That's been my previous experience. I'm hoping £10 of glue will stave off £100+ of new shoes for at least 6 months.

I am not convinced much will fix that if you have torn through the structure of the shoe. Repairing soles etc where the actual shoe is in good nick fair enough but thats a tall order.
Which isn't to say i wouldn't try... Maybe time to break out the awl and toothfloss at the same time.

This. I started a thread on the subject a while ago, some really good glues recommended, none of which lasted long enough to be worth finding a place they could dry without being placed sole down or knocked over, even with a little sign saying "wet glue don't move or touch".
I am not convinced much will fix that if you have torn through the structure of the shoe.
The sole seems intact. The rubber has ripped down the middle and pulled off the sole
Shoe goo is still in transit to me. I still have hope 😀
E6000 ime is exactly like shoe goo but better.
That said bike shoes do have a pretty hard life, I've glued a bunch of shoes over the years but never had a bike one really last well.
