Oh yes....
Currently running a 2.4 Ardent. What are people using for wet/muddy/sh!@£y conditions on the front end?
rocket rons on one bike and 2.5 dissents on the other work fine in winter muck for me, but if you want a general winter tyre a mud x is tops, if you want a racing tyre for mud, get a beaver
I've looked at mud x and beaver, they seem nice. I bit narrow for me though. I'm after something with a bit of volume, as running rigid. Does anyone know when the Minion 2.5 29 is coming out in the UK?
2.35 nobby nic is very good with a stiff frontage
or a 2.5 dissent on a 45mm rim at 8psi works wonders, a wee bit heavy though
Nobby Nic 2.35 comes up pretty big, especially tubeless on a Flow and works well in the mud. Strange really because I used to hate them in 26" size!
Bonti 29-4. Wide and aggressive.
