that will stay on a crest rim at pressures around 30psi
Been running a high roller on some XC717's with conversion strips with no problems. Put same model tyres on Stans Crest and they've been burping off so I upped the pressure, front wheel washed out and now I'm recovering from a dislocated shoulder 👿
sensible suggestions greatly appreciated

I've had some issues with Maxxis on Crest rims - if they're not brand new I'd be worried about sealing them on. I've had one blow off the rim while seating, and my mate had another blow off twice.
The bead is quite slack, and seems to be at the bottom of the ETRTO rating - so new and tight is the way forward.
