Having the same question every year I always go with base layers, you can never have too many base layer when you ride 5 days a week 😀

I just wear the same merino baselayer 5 days a week...works fine for me! 😉
I reckon you can never have too many pairs of shorts, as you never know when they'll rip or wear out.

I got some arm warmers last year and find them very useful
Rapha cap or similar - I bought one a couple of weeks ago. Its fantastic, keeps the rain off your glases, keeps headlight glare out your eyes, keeps your head warm.
Rapha winter socks - toasty warm merino for £20.
