Ritchey 1 1/4 WCS stem for the new road race bike. Sadly my very nice Carbon Matrix stem won't fit. Damn that Giant and their newfangled standards. Apparently most of the pros are riding 1 1/4 so how come we can't source stems? Not even Shimano Pro - and they sponsor the team.

Assorted bits of fuel system for a mondeo, which hopefully means I can go bike racin at the weekend. Some people's race prep is hours on a turbo, mine is fixing cars in the rain.

Nothing I went to the LBS in my "lunch break" and bothered them while sponging a gratuitous coffee, they're not even called Waitrose.

The yodelman brought me a parcel from Planet X. Assorted bits and bobs and consumables from the sale. Bit late, but a clean sweep of 25 correct items from an order of 25.

Ooh, ooh can I come in with a "tomorrow" arrival. Expecting my new Elliot Brown Canford, I may be a little excited as I need to perk this week up a bit!

Apparently Pro do one that's on most of the pro bikes but it's not for sale yet. Which Ritchey one did you get? I rather like the look of the Superlogic one but 200 quid seems quite a lot for a stem!

A spare peak for my 661 flight, I smashed my other spare faceplanting at Antur Stiniog last year and was made up when I found one in the right colour on fleabay.

I received a slackline ti frame...minus the head badge and any sign of cable guides. Not particularly happy considering the cost of the frame and all pics on their website showing the badge. 🙁
