A pair of these to match my new bike which I'm taking to Majorca tomorrow. Don't know what it is about water bottles - they're the cycling equivalent of teenagers getting a brand spanking new pair of trainers before going on holiday.

😀

A little box containing a nice big red..
[img] [/img]

Not quite as big as that one but big enough for my dinghy.

AND

A Tax rebate cheque...

Not sure what to do with that yet, totally unexpected.

I shall ask Auntie Stella when I see her tonight!

Always an answer at the bottom of her glass.

This morning I got a new set of earpads for my headphones. I know, rockstar life.

Yesterday though, the postie brought me a new .308 target rifle and a load of Norma brass. Now to fettle it to within an inch of its life!

Happy chappy wins.

There was a youth (well probably mid 20s) teaching his girlfriend to ride a bike near work yesterday. She had just got the hang if it when I assed them and he was cheering her on.

I nearly shed a tear.

Wippermann chain. I've not tried a non-shimano chain yet, so am looking forward (with some trepidation) to how well (or not) it shifts.

A cheque for rather a lot of money.
Thank Uncle Eric you were a top bloke and a great mate to me.
We will put it good use.
